During Spring 2, the children were researching the Lancashire hotpot recipe. The children have researched the original ingredients of a Lancashire hotpot and completed market research, to ensure their designs are functional and appealing. When designing, the children considered the user, purpose, functionality and innovations they would make to their recipes. When preparing their food, they were hygienic and safe. They collected their required ingredients, trying to make sure it was produced locally and seasonal produce. Their final products looked and tasted delicious! The children evaluated their recipes, considering ways to improve their hotpots if they were to create them again.
