The children were challenged to build a den or temporary shelter that was waterproof.  Some children chose to work as a team and some children enjoyed carrying out the challenge independently. I gave them time to build their dens/shelters and the children chose a team representative to sit in the den whilst we threw water over to check how waterproof it actually was.  The children carried out our value of teamwork incredibly and built extremely waterproof dens and shelters that little water could get through.
