The children had a very exciting visitor, Adrian Bowen's travelling Science Show! The children were able to participate in a range of experiments, all about Light and Sound. 

To begin with, the children investigated how shadows are made and how light travels through different objects. The children looked at the materials that the objects were made out of and how opaque objects create solid shadows and transparent objects create a different shadow, as the material allows light to pass through it. 

Then, the children moved on to investigate sound. Adrian created a number of sounds with different pitches, using a range of objects, including a cone and a straw! 

We had an amazing morning, revisiting some previous topics and learning new scientific facts too!
